Now is the time for your new business portraits.

Your outdated headshot is costing you, clients!

Let’s be real—first impressions happen online.

And if your profile picture is a blurry selfie, an old corporate headshot from 10 years ago, or worse… you don’t have one at all! Then you’re leaving money on the table.

As much as I’d like to show people the first photograph (below) of me in my early 30s, the one with my favourite old film camera, as my business profile portrait picture, time inevitably moves on, and very quickly, as we all know.

It’s like showing a prospective date an old picture of yourself and hoping they won’t notice. They will.

People decide in seconds whether they trust you or not. If your photos look outdated, low-quality, or don’t reflect who you are now, you might be losing potential clients before you even speak to them.

To my shame, I used an old picture of myself for years until my wife told me off!

And when I decided to upgrade my images, did I get more engagement, more inquiries, or job offers after updating my photos? Well, yes, people want to see who they are working with.

A great personal brand photo conveys a person's authenticity, professionalism, personality, and values. It effectively tells a story about who the person is and what they stand for, allowing potential clients to connect with them on a deeper level and determine whether they're a good fit for their needs.

It’s also about showing up confidently, making a strong impression and attracting the right people to your business.

I, as a lifestyle and branding photographer, have all this in mind when working with my clients, and my photography has something a little different, something that sets it apart from other branding photographers; see for yourself here:
