Suffolk Bangers Racers

How much do you know about the sport of Banger Racing? If you're like me, then probably not too much. So I took myself off to the Foxhall Hall stadium, around 3 miles from my home in Ipswich, and submersed myself, for one day, into a life of a Banger Racing fan. And what a fabulous day it was; I minged with the teams, their members (much of them family members) and photographed the many charatchers with whom I came across throughout the day. The noise, the smell of engine oil and petrol, the broken cars that just kept on running and the general happy atmosphere all colluded to make a wonderful spectacle for the sport.
