why LIFESTYLE photography is vital FOR YOUR Brand’s ONLINE PRESENCE?

Whether you’re an entrepreneur in Hampstead, St John’s Wood, Bristol or Cardiff. You may be a musician, or a nutritionist in other areas of the UK, but in these competitive times, successful brand-building is challenging.

Your brand profile can determine whether you’re successful or limp along hoping for a big break. Developing a brand that stands out from the competition comes down to one or two crucial decisions…

Marketing is all about communicating your skills and value to your customer, and a critical aspect is real, active and engaged photography and video. Indeed, photography should be one of your first considerations when promoting your product, services or talent.

We have become a much more visual society and culture, people relate to images instantly, and as such, this helps to build trust, good communications, and importantly, it humanises our brand. Good consistent imagery also helps businesses to tell their company story successfully, sometimes without the need for words. The statistics are staggering when we see today's engagement via mobile devices, so having premium marketing and lifestyle photography is more important than ever before.

Why do you need personal branding photography?

Today, countless magazines, websites, billboards, bus shelters and advertising posters all have one thing in common: they all carry 'lifestyle' photographs in some shape or form. But what exactly are lifestyle images?

Lifestyle photography is a style of portrait photography. It captures and documents real-life events, situations, or milestones in a creative way, resulting in images that could be seen as the 'art of every day'.

Over the last year or so, many of my clients from Crouch End, Belsize Park, Woodbridge, Newmarket to Oxford and Manchester and elsewhere across the UK, have been in touch, all wanting a series of workplace images, lifestyle and business-type portraits that tell their stories. Being able to offer superior standards in imagery, I’m personally seeing interest and requests rise for my contemporary business portrait images, primarily from private business clients, but also from corporates.

My business clients want images that show their real-life experiences, it's my job to incorporate real-life events into their photo sessions. On other occasions, I produce 'workplace stories' – photography based around staff members and the day-to-day activity at a place of work, such as workshops and events.

Instead of static headshots, my clients receive compelling live-action images of people at work or 'in the field'.

I shoot these with a documentary feel and style, which gives stories a more engaged and contemporary feel, while also adding a little more intrigue for the viewer, which in turn, helps to better publicise and sell their services.
