What to expect when working with john.


John Ferguson Photography offers just one package. Our actors' headshot sessions take place in our central Ipswich photography studio, which is conveniently located a few minutes from town Centre car parks & Bus stations. 

This package is devised to cover most casting directors' requirements; still, if there's something specific you require and that you don't see in one of our packages, then please get in touch, we'd be happy to put together a bespoke actors' headshot package for you. 

Our actors' headshot session packages are all priced at £250; retouched images are then priced at £35 per image.

We also offer actors' intro to camera videos as an additional option for all our actor headshot photography packages (also available as a stand-alone service).


This is our process:

I. Book the date.

First, we get to know each other on our free 30-minute call. We discuss your needs to plan your shoot day and what you'll need on the day. We'll also take payment for your session shoot on this call, or arrange for payment before your shoot.

II. Take photos.

Next, we spend 2 to 3 hours on your shoot day in the studio or on location. You'll have the option of two to three changes of clothing. You can also bring your make-up artist, or I can have one on site if required.

III. Deliver your photos.

You can see a selection of the images straight after your shoot, but I prefer to send all my clients a digital portfolio so they can choose their favourites at their own pace.  Once you have selected your favourites, I will retouch them, and once your payment has been made, your photos will be ready to download via your digital portfolio.  

I can also be on hand to help with the selection if you so wish.
